AUDITIONS FOR

Wizard of Oz

Date: Sunday January 11th, 2026

Times

·        1:15 - 1:45: Dancers age 7-12, who have not started pointe or begun classical technique work

·        2:00 - 2:45: Dancers age 11 and older who have less than two years of pointe work (Dancers will not be auditioning on pointe)

·        3:00 - 4:00: Dancers age 13 and older who have completed two years of pointe work and/or two years of partnering experience (Adults on pointe will audition with this group as well)

All dancers must be attending at least one ballet technique class a week during the 2025 - 2026 season

Place

  Thomas School of Dance, 193 Union Street, Bangor, Maine

Bangor Ballet invites dancers from area dance schools to audition for The Wizard of Oz!!!

Rehearsals

Casting will be announced by Friday January 16th, 2026

Rehearsals will start Sunday, January 18th running between 1:00pm - 6:00pm on Sundays, continuously, through May. 

Performances

Hampden Academy PAC Hampden ME

Saturday May 9th - Sunday May 10th

Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled audition time to fill out 

paperwork.

Please bring a list of all rehearsal/date conflicts with you.

Dancers under age 18 must have a parent with them to sign release forms. 

All listed conflicts and paperwork are due at the time of audition.
