Rehearsals are well under way for this year’s production of Nutcracker in a Nutshell. We are very pleased to have some particularly mischievous mice dancing with us this year! Nutcracker presents an opportunity for younger dancers to take the stage the world over - even the famous founder of the New York City Ballet, George Balanchine, was a mouse in Nutcracker as a boy in Russia.

This gives the young dancers a chance to see what a production is like - and to hang out with our amazing company members. The older dancers like having all that young energy (and let’s face it, admiration!) at rehearsals and performances. It is a win-win for everyone - especially our audiences who are always delighted to see a new generation take the stage.

See you at a performance soon!
